This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL3069) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human PXMP4, targeting the amino acid region 131–212 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PXMP4 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, cow, zebrafish, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. PXMP4, also known as peroxisomal membrane protein 4 (P24A or 24 kDa peroxisomal membrane protein), is a protein encoded by the PXMP4 gene located on the human chromosome 20q11.22, consisting of four exons and producing a 24 kDa integral membrane protein primarily localized to the peroxisomal membrane. This protein plays a role in peroxisomal biogenesis and function, though its precise molecular mechanisms remain under investigation, with studies indicating involvement in lipid metabolism and potential contributions to cellular processes such as epithelial-mesenchymal transition in cancer cells.
CABT-BL3069 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL3069 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.02% Proclin300, 1% BSA, 0.01M PBS, pH7.4. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
