General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL2955) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human POTED. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. POTED (POTE Ankyrin Domain Family Member D) is a human protein-coding gene belonging to the POTE gene family, a group of primate-specific genes derived from ancestral actin-related sequences. POTED encodes a protein that typically contains ankyrin repeat domains and coiled-coil regions, structural features commonly involved in mediating protein–protein interactions. Members of the POTE family are often expressed in a tissue-restricted manner, with some showing higher expression in reproductive tissues and certain cancers, suggesting potential roles in cell proliferation, differentiation, or tumor biology. However, the specific biological function of POTED is not well defined, and its molecular mechanisms, interaction partners, and physiological roles remain largely uncharacterized.
CABT-BL2955 is suitable for use in IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500), WB 1 (500-1:2000) applications.
CABT-BL2955 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
