General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5414) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PLDN, targeting the amino acid region 1–172 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PLDN from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Pallidin is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PLDN gene. The protein encoded by this gene may play a role in intracellular vesicle trafficking. It interacts with Syntaxin 13 which mediates intracellular membrane fusion. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been described, but the full-length nature of some of these variants has not been determined.
CABT-BL5414 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:20,000–1:80,000), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:2,000), IHC (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL5414 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.02% Sodium Azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
