General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL2848) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PAN3, targeting the amino acid region 512–687 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human PAN3 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Shortening of the poly(A) tail in mRNA, called deadenylation, is the first rate-limiting step in mRNA turnover. PAN3 is the regulatory subunit of a cytoplasmic poly(A) nuclease complex that links the catalytic PAN2 subunit to the poly(A)-binding protein PABP, which stimulates PAN2-dependent deadenylation activity (PMID: 14583602). PAN3 has four isoforms, isoform1: 95 kDa; isoform2: 64 kDa, isoform3: 89 kDa and isoform4: 72 kDa.
CABT-BL2848 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:6,000), IHC (1:250–1:1,000) applications.
CABT-BL2848 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
