This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL2630) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human NKX1-2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human NKX1-2 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. NKX1-2 (NK1 homeobox 2) is a transcription factor belonging to the NK homeobox gene family, characterized by a conserved homeodomain that enables sequence-specific DNA binding. It plays an important role in early embryonic development, particularly in the regulation of mesoderm formation and posterior body patterning. NKX1-2 is also involved in maintaining progenitor cell states during axial elongation and has been studied as a marker of neuromesodermal progenitors (NMPs). Its expression is tightly regulated by signaling pathways such as Wnt signaling pathway and Fibroblast growth factor signaling, highlighting its role in coordinating developmental gene networks. CABT-BL2630 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:20–1:200) applications. CABT-BL2630 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
