This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL2488) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human MOBP, targeting the amino acid region 7–90 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MOBP from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, horse, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. Predicted to be a structural constituent of myelin sheath. Predicted to be involved in nervous system development. Predicted to be located in mitochondrion and perinuclear region of cytoplasm. Implicated in frontotemporal dementia.
CABT-BL2488 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL2488 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
