This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5169) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human MIS12, targeting the amino acid region 11–120 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MIS12 from mouse, rat, dog, cow, horse, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. MIS12 (Protein MIS12 homolog) is a critical component of the conserved 4-subunit MIS12 complex (also known as MIND: Mtw1, Nnf1, Nsl1, Dsn1), which acts as a key linker for outer kinetochore assembly during mitosis. It bridges centromere-associated proteins (CENP-C) with microtubule-binding machinery, facilitating proper chromosome alignment and segregation.
CABT-BL5169 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL5169 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
