This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5152) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human MED28, targeting the amino acid region 1–100 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MED28 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, zebrafish, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. Predicted to enable actin binding activity. Predicted to be involved in RNA polymerase II preinitiation complex assembly; positive regulation of transcription elongation by RNA polymerase II; and positive regulation of transcription initiation by RNA polymerase II. Predicted to act upstream of or within negative regulation of smooth muscle cell differentiation and somatic stem cell population maintenance. Located in nucleoplasm. Part of core mediator complex.

CABT-BL5152 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
