General Notes

This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL2377) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MED13. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MED13 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Component of the Mediator complex, a coactivator involved in the regulated transcription of nearly all RNA polymerase II-dependent genes. Mediator functions as a bridge to convey information from gene-specific regulatory proteins to the basal RNA polymerase II transcription machinery. Mediator is recruited to promoters by direct interactions with regulatory proteins and serves as a scaffold for the assembly of a functional preinitiation complex with RNA polymerase II and the general transcription factors.
CABT-BL2377 is suitable for use in IHC 1 (50-1:200) application.
CABT-BL2377 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
