General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5125) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human MATR3, targeting the amino acid region 421–520 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MATR3 from rat, mouse, chicken, dog, pig, cow, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a nuclear matrix protein, which is proposed to stabilize certain messenger RNA species. Mutations of this gene are associated with distal myopathy 2, which often includes vocal cord and pharyngeal weakness. Alternatively spliced transcript variants, including read-through transcripts composed of the upstream small nucleolar RNA host gene 4 (non-protein coding) and matrin 3 gene sequence, have been identified. Pseudogenes of this gene are located on chromosomes 1 and X.
CABT-BL5125 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL5125 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
