General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5076) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human LSMD1, targeting the amino acid region 31–125 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with LSMD1 from mouse, rat, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. LSMD1 (LSM domain-containing protein 1) is a highly conserved, essential eukaryotic protein containing a characteristic Sm-domain that enables RNA binding. It acts as a key subunit in the cytoplasmic Lsm1–7–Pat1 complex, promoting 5′–3′ mRNA decay, mRNA decapping, and 3′-end protection. It is primarily involved in mRNA metabolism, stress response, and cell survival, with mutations or deficiencies often leading to impaired cellular fitness.
CABT-BL5076 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL5076 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
