General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL2240) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human LSM7, targeting the amino acid region 1–103 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human LSM7 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Sm-like proteins were identified in a variety of organisms based on sequence homology with the Sm protein family (see SNRPD2; MIM 601061). Sm-like proteins contain the Sm sequence motif, which consists of 2 regions separated by a linker of variable length that folds as a loop. The Sm-like proteins are thought to form a stable heteromer present in tri-snRNP particles, which are important for pre-mRNA splicing. CABT-BL2240 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:20–1:200) applications. CABT-BL2240 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
