General Notes

This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL2073) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human KLHL24. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with KLHL24 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Necessary to maintain the balance between intermediate filament stability and degradation, a process that is essential for skin integrity. As part of the BCR(KLHL24) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, mediates ubiquitination of KRT14 and controls its levels during keratinocytes differentiation. Specifically reduces kainate receptor-mediated currents in hippocampal neurons, most probably by modulating channel properties (By similarity).
CABT-BL2073 is suitable for use in IHC 1 (50-1:200) application.
CABT-BL2073 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
