General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4979) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human KIAA1191, targeting the amino acid region 154–305 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human KIAA1191 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. KIAA1191 is a protein-coding gene identified through large-scale cDNA sequencing projects and remains relatively poorly characterized in terms of precise biological function. Bioinformatic analyses suggest that the encoded protein may contain domains associated with protein–protein interactions, implying a potential role in intracellular signaling or structural organization. Expression profiling indicates that KIAA1191 is present in multiple tissues, with possible enrichment in neural or developmental contexts, although its exact physiological role has not been fully elucidated. To date, there is limited direct evidence linking KIAA1191 to specific diseases, and further functional studies are required to clarify its molecular mechanisms and biological significance.
CABT-BL4979 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
CABT-BL4979 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
