General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL2034) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human KIAA0889, targeting the amino acid region 21–120 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with KIAA0889 from mouse, rat, and pig. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. SOGA1, also known as suppressor of glucose, autophagy-associated 1, is a protein encoded by the human MTCL2 gene (also known as SOGA1) located on chromosome 20q11.23. This microtubule-associated protein plays critical roles in cellular processes, including the regulation of glucose production in hepatocytes through inhibition of autophagy and the maintenance of faithful chromosome segregation during mitosis by interacting with CLASP family proteins. SOGA1 is distinct from the related protein SOGA2 (MTCL1), which shares similar interactions.
CABT-BL2034 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL2034 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
