This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4884) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human HSDL1, targeting the amino acid region 161–260 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with HSDL1 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. Hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase-like 1 (HSDL1) is an atypical member of the short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase (SDR) family, located in the mitochondrion and intermediate filament cytoskeleton. It is primarily expressed in human steroidogenic tissues like the testis and ovary, with increased expression in prostate cancer, suggesting a potential role in cancer metabolism.
CABT-BL4884 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
CABT-BL4884 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
