General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4880) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human HS3ST5, targeting the amino acid region 251–346 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with HS3ST5 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. HS3ST5 belongs to a group of heparan sulfate 3-O-sulfotransferases (EC 2.8.2.23) that transfer sulfate from 3-prime-phosphoadenosine 5-prime phosphosulfate (PAPS) to heparan sulfate and heparin (Mochizuki et al., 2003 [PubMed 12740361]).
CABT-BL4880 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL4880 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
