General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL1785) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human HGF activator, targeting the amino acid region 451–550 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with HGF activator from mouse, rat, and dog. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the Kunitz family of serine protease inhibitors. The protein is a potent inhibitor specific for HGF activator and is thought to be involved in the regulation of the proteolytic activation of HGF in injured tissues. Alternative splicing results in multiple variants encoding different isoforms. CABT-BL1785 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. CABT-BL1785 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
