This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4806) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GTSE1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GTSE1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is only expressed in the S and G2 phases of the cell cycle, where it colocalizes with cytoplasmic tubulin and microtubules. In response to DNA damage, the encoded protein accumulates in the nucleus and binds the tumor suppressor protein p53, shuttling it out of the nucleus and repressing its ability to induce apoptosis. CABT-BL4806 is suitable for use in IHC (1:20–1:100) application. CABT-BL4806 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
