This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4798) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human GSDMC, targeting the amino acid region 1–100 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by protein A. Gasdermin C (GSDMC), also known as MLZE, is a protein encoded by the GSDMC gene located on chromosome 8q24.21 in humans. It belongs to the gasdermin family of pore-forming proteins, which are critical effectors of pyroptosis—a lytic form of programmed cell death that triggers inflammatory responses through the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines. GSDMC is predominantly expressed in epithelial tissues of the skin and gastrointestinal tract, where it plays roles in maintaining tissue homeostasis and responding to cellular stress.
CABT-BL4798 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL4798 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
