This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL1681) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human GRIN3A, targeting the amino acid region 531–630 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GRIN3A from mouse, rat, dog, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a subunit of the N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors, which belong to the superfamily of glutamate-regulated ion channels, and function in physiological and pathological processes in the central nervous system. This subunit shows greater than 90% identity to the corresponding subunit in rat. Studies in the knockout mouse deficient in this subunit suggest that this gene may be involved in the development of synaptic elements by modulating NMDA receptor activity.
CABT-BL1681 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
CABT-BL1681 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
