General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL1677) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GRAMD1A, targeting the amino acid region 234–465 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Protein Aster-A (GRAMD1A) is a cholesterol transporter, which contains unique domains for binding cholesterol and the plasma membrane (PM), thereby serving as a molecular bridge for the transfer of cholesterol from the PM to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). It was reported that plays a role in autophagy regulation and is required for the biogenesis of the autophagosome (PMID:31222192). It can be detected as 80 kDa. CABT-BL1677 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications. CABT-BL1677 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
