General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4767) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GPR119. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GPR119 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the rhodopsin subfamily of G-protein-coupled receptors that is expressed in the pancreas and gastrointestinal tract. The encoded protein is activated by lipid amides including lysophosphatidylcholine and oleoylethanolamide and may be involved in glucose homeostasis. This protein is a potential drug target in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. CABT-BL4767 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:1000), IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications. CABT-BL4767 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
