General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4763) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GPR111, targeting the amino acid region 93–335 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ADGRF2 (also known as ADGRF2P), formerly designated as GPR111, is a pseudogene in humans located on chromosome 6p12.3, with a predicted adhesion G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) sequence encoded by the ADGRF2 gene. The predicted protein belongs to the adhesion GPCR subfamily (Family B2 or VI), characterized by a large N-terminal extracellular domain with adhesion motifs, a GPCR autoproteolysis-inducing (GAIN) domain, and seven transmembrane helices, resulting in approximately 708 amino acids. As a pseudogene, no functional protein or endogenous ligands are produced in humans, and physiological roles are studied via the mouse ortholog Adgrf2 (formerly Gpr111), which is implicated in regulating extracellular pH responses and proteolytic enzyme expression during tissue mineralization processes.
CABT-BL4763 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:500) application.
CABT-BL4763 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
