General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL1618) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GEN1, targeting the amino acid region 730–908 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. GEN1 is a endonuclease which resolves Holliday junctions (HJs) by the introduction of symmetrically related cuts across the junction point, to produce nicked duplex products in which the nicks can be readily ligated. GEN1 efficiently cleaves both single and double HJs contained within large recombination intermediates. CABT-BL1618 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) application. CABT-BL1618 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
