This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4717) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human GAS8, targeting the amino acid region 51–150 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GAS8 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, cow, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene includes 11 exons spanning 25 kb and maps to a region of chromosome 16 that is sometimes deleted in breast and prostrate cancer. The second intron contains an apparently intronless gene, C16orf3, that is transcribed in the opposite orientation. This gene is a putative tumor suppressor gene. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
CABT-BL4717 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
CABT-BL4717 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
