General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4707) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human GABRG1, targeting the amino acid region 65–160 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GABRG1 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the ligand-gated ionic channel family. It is an integral membrane protein and plays an important role in inhibiting neurotransmission by binding to the benzodiazepine receptor and opening an integral chloride channel. This gene is clustered with three other family members on chromosome 4.
CABT-BL4707 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) application.
CABT-BL4707 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
