This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL1583) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GABPB1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GABPB1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes the GA-binding protein transcription factor, beta subunit. This protein forms a tetrameric complex with the alpha subunit, and stimulates transcription of target genes. The encoded protein may be involved in activation of cytochrome oxidase expression and nuclear control of mitochondrial function. The crystal structure of a similar protein in mouse has been resolved as a ternary protein complex. Multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. CABT-BL1583 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:5,000), IHC (1:70–1:350) applications. CABT-BL1583 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
