General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL1473) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human FAM40B, targeting the amino acid region 268–413 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human FAM40B from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. FAM40B, also known as STRIP2, is a member of the striatin-interacting phosphatase and kinase (STRIPAK) complex that is involved in the regulation of various processes such as cell proliferation and differentiation. Fam40b in ESCs is as a perinuclear and nucleolar protein with a molecular weight of 96kDa (PMID: 25010986). The expression of Fam40b is essential for the lineage commitment of murine embryonic stem cells (mESCs) into differentiated somatic cells via mechanisms involving pluripotency and epigenetic networks. CABT-BL1473 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) application. CABT-BL1473 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
