This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4618) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human FAM13B, targeting the amino acid region 841–915 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with FAM13B from mouse, rat, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. FAM13B (Family With Sequence Similarity 13 Member B) is a protein-coding gene, and associated RNA, involved in regulating cardiac, cancer, and metabolic pathways. Decreased expression is linked to increased atrial fibrillation risk by affecting calcium cycling, while in cancer, its circular form (circFAM13B) acts as a tumor suppressor by restraining metastasis in nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
CABT-BL4618 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
CABT-BL4618 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
