This antibody binds to a species-specific epitope on Der p 1. It may be used in conjunction with clone 6I9 in a sandwich assay. It also competes with clone 5D2 for binding to Der p 1, but with 5D2 binding to Der f 1. Fab versions of this antibody have been used in co-crystallization studies.
