General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4515) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human DHX33, targeting the amino acid region 101–200 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with DHX33 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, cow, and horse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a member of the DEAD box protein family. The DEAD box proteins are characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases. They are implicated in a number of cellular processes involving alteration of RNA secondary structure such as translation initiation, nuclear and mitochondrial splicing, and ribosome and spliceosome assembly. Based on their distribution patterns, some members of this DEAD box protein family are believed to be involved in embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth and division. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
CABT-BL4515 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL4515 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
