This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4499) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human DDX49, targeting the amino acid region 351–483 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with DDX49 from rat, mouse, dog, pig, cow, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. DDX49 (DEAD-box helicase 49) is an ATP-dependent RNA helicase primarily localized in the nucleolus, crucial for ribosome biogenesis and mRNA export. It regulates pre-ribosomal RNA stability, influencing translation and cell proliferation. Overexpressed in various cancers (lung, colorectal, prostate), it is a potential biomarker and therapeutic target for cancer metastasis.
CABT-BL4499 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL4499 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
