This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4479) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human DCBLD2, targeting the amino acid region 582–743 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. DCBLD2, also known as ESDN or CLCP1, was first identified from human coronary arterial cells by a signal sequence trap method. DCBLD2 regulates proliferation, migration, and invasion in various tumors, including glioma, hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma, and myxofibrosarcoma. The human DCBLD2 protein has a predicted molecular mass of ∼80 kDa based on its amino acid sequence, although it regularly displays an effective molecular mass of ∼130 kDa via SDS-PAGE (PMID: 30902898).
CABT-BL4479 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:6,000), IHC (1:300–1:1,200) applications.
CABT-BL4479 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
