General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL1545) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human FOXD3, targeting the amino acid region 151–230 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with FOXD3 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, cow, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by protein A. Forkhead box D3 (FOXD3) is a gene that encodes a member of the forkhead family of transcription factors, characterized by a conserved winged-helix DNA-binding domain, and plays essential roles in regulating gene expression during early embryonic development. The protein product, FOXD3, functions primarily as a transcriptional repressor by binding to AT-rich consensus sequences such as 5'-A[AT]T[AG]TTTGTTT-3', though it can also act as an activator in specific contexts, such as cooperating with OCT4 to regulate promoters like that of osteopontin (SPP1).
CABT-BL1545 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:50–1:200) applications.
CABT-BL1545 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
