General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4461) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CYHR1, targeting the amino acid region 1–192 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CYHR1, or Cysteine/Histidine-rich protein 1, is a protein that was first discovered in a yeast two-hybrid screen with murine galectin-3 (PMID: 26676980). It is encoded by the CYHR1 gene in humans. The protein is known for its N-terminal cysteine- and histidine-rich domain, which shares similarity with metal-binding zinc finger domains found in other proteins. CYHR1 is involved in various cellular functions, including protein binding and metal ion binding, as indicated by its gene ontology (GO) terms. CABT-BL4461 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000) application. CABT-BL4461 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
