General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL865) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CCDC62, targeting the amino acid region 265–616 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human CCDC62 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CCDC62 (Coiled-Coil Domain Containing 62) is a protein-coding gene that encodes a coiled-coil domain–rich protein, suggesting a primary role in mediating protein–protein interactions and organizing intracellular multiprotein complexes. Although its precise molecular function is not well characterized, coiled-coil proteins are commonly involved in cytoskeletal organization, vesicular trafficking, transcriptional regulation, and signaling pathway modulation. CCDC62 is predicted to localize in the cytoplasm and possibly associate with cellular structural or signaling components. Expression data indicate that it is broadly expressed across tissues, though with potential context-dependent regulation in specific physiological or disease states. Some studies have suggested possible associations with hormone-related cancers such as breast cancer, implying a potential role in cell proliferation or tumor biology, but these links remain incompletely defined. Overall, CCDC62 is considered a putative regulatory scaffold protein with emerging but not yet well-established biological functions.
CABT-BL865 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:20–1:200) applications.
CABT-BL865 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
