General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4312) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human CCDC138, targeting the amino acid region 551–665 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with CCDC138 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by protein A. Coiled-coil domain-containing protein 138 (CCDC138) is a protein-coding gene involved in ciliogenesis and frequently associated with cancer progression, specifically acting as a prognostic biomarker for poor survival in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC). It plays a role in cilia function and is implicated in ciliopathies and oncogenic pathways like mTOR, p53/Rb, and MYC/MYCN.
CABT-BL4312 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
CABT-BL4312 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
