General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL726) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human C2orf68. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with C2orf68 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. C2ORF68 (Chromosome 2 Open Reading Frame 68) is a human protein-coding gene that belongs to the category of uncharacterized or poorly annotated genes. As suggested by its name, it is located on chromosome 2 and represents an open reading frame with limited functional characterization. The predicted protein lacks well-defined conserved domains with clearly established biological roles, making its molecular function difficult to infer based on sequence alone. Current knowledge about C2ORF68 is limited, but genes in this class are often investigated through transcriptomic and proteomic studies to determine their expression patterns and potential involvement in cellular processes. Available evidence suggests that C2ORF68 may be expressed in specific tissues, though its physiological role, interacting partners, and involvement in signaling pathways remain largely unknown and require further experimental validation.
CABT-BL726 is suitable for use in IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications.
CABT-BL726 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
