General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL598) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human C17orf75, targeting the amino acid region 32–396 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. C17ORF75 (Chromosome 17 Open Reading Frame 75) is a poorly characterized human protein-coding gene with limited functional annotation in current biological databases. It is predicted to encode a small intracellular protein lacking well-defined catalytic domains, suggesting a potential regulatory, scaffolding, or accessory role rather than enzymatic activity. Sequence conservation analyses indicate that C17ORF75 is preserved across vertebrate species, implying that it may perform an evolutionarily conserved cellular function. Expression data suggest relatively broad but low-to-moderate tissue distribution, with no clear tissue-specific enrichment established. At present, there is no experimentally validated biochemical pathway or molecular mechanism directly associated with C17ORF75.
CABT-BL598 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL598 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
