This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4246) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human C12ORF49, targeting the amino acid region 121–205 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with C12ORF49 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, cow, horse, and zebrafish. It has been affinity purified by protein A. C12ORF49 (Chromosome 12 Open Reading Frame 49) is a human gene encoding a protein that has attracted interest due to emerging evidence linking it to cellular stress and inflammatory signaling pathways. Some studies suggest a role in endoplasmic reticulum stress responses and immune-related regulation, although mechanistic details are still being elucidated. Its expression profile and inducibility under stress conditions indicate potential relevance in disease-associated cellular adaptation.
CABT-BL4246 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
CABT-BL4246 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
