General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL528) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human C12ORF42, targeting the amino acid region 21–120 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by protein A. C12ORF42 (Chromosome 12 Open Reading Frame 42) encodes a small human protein with limited functional annotation. Sequence conservation across species suggests evolutionary constraint, supporting a biologically relevant role. Although no specific pathways have been definitively assigned, C12ORF42 has been detected at the transcript level in various tissues, implying involvement in basic cellular processes. Its molecular function and physiological significance remain subjects of active investigation. CABT-BL528 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications. CABT-BL528 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
