This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4245) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human C12ORF40. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. C12ORF40 (Chromosome 12 Open Reading Frame 40) is a human protein encoded on chromosome 12 that remains largely uncharacterized at the functional level. Bioinformatic analyses suggest it lacks obvious enzymatic motifs, pointing toward a possible regulatory or scaffolding role in the cell. Expression has been detected in multiple tissues, indicating a potential housekeeping function. Ongoing genomic and proteomic studies aim to clarify its contribution to cellular organization or signaling networks. CABT-BL4245 is suitable for use in IHC (1:40–1:200) application. CABT-BL4245 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C.
