This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4241) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human BZW1, targeting the amino acid region 11–120 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with BZW1 from rat, mouse, chicken, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. Basic leucine zipper and W2 domains 1 (BZW1) is a protein-coding gene and key translational regulator that acts as an eIF5-mimic protein to control translation initiation. It is heavily involved in cancer progression (specifically in lung, pancreatic, and prostate cancers) by promoting proliferation, metastasis, and glycolysis, often acting as a poor prognostic biomarker.
CABT-BL4241 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL4241 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
