Conjugation for ABA is determined at pH 12 by measuring the absorbance at 490 nm and using extinction coefficient ABA = 1.05 x 10E+4. The conjugation ratio is given as the molar ratio of ABA to CGG assuming the molecular weight of CGG is 150,000. Store solution in aliquots at -20°C. Protect from light. This product can be dissolved in water or phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2 at a concentration of 1 mg/mL. Product may precipitate when stored in solution, therefore it is recommended to centrifuge the solutions briefly before use and use only the supernatant.
