General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26020) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human eIF2B3. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with eIF2B3 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is one of the subunits of initiation factor eIF2B, which catalyzes the exchange of eukaryotic initiation factor 2-bound GDP for GTP. It has also been found to function as a cofactor of hepatitis C virus internal ribosome entry site-mediated translation. Mutations in this gene have been associated with leukodystrophy with vanishing white matter. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
DPABH-26020 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application.
DPABH-26020 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
