This product (Catalog No. DPABH-10665) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZNHIT6, targeting the amino acid region 1–203 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ZNHIT6 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZNHIT6 (Zinc Finger HIT-Type Containing 6) is a nuclear protein that contains a HIT-type zinc finger domain and functions as a molecular chaperone involved in ribosome biogenesis. It plays an important role in the assembly and maturation of the small ribosomal subunit by participating in the processing of pre-rRNA and the stabilization of ribonucleoprotein complexes within the nucleolus. ZNHIT6 is known to interact with other ribosome assembly factors, contributing to the proper folding and structural organization of nascent ribosomal particles. Through these activities, it is essential for efficient protein synthesis and overall cellular growth. Expression of ZNHIT6 is generally ubiquitous, consistent with its fundamental role in ribosome production. Although its core function in ribosome biogenesis is established, additional regulatory roles and disease associations are still being explored.
DPABH-10665 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) application.
DPABH-10665 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
