General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20586) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZNF740, targeting the amino acid region 1–90 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ZNF740 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZNF740 (Zinc Finger Protein 740) is a member of the C2H2-type zinc finger transcription factor family that is primarily involved in DNA binding and regulation of gene expression. It is localized in the nucleus and is thought to function mainly as a transcriptional regulator, often acting as a repressor through recruitment of chromatin-modifying complexes such as KAP1/TRIM28 and histone deacetylases. Like many KRAB-associated zinc finger proteins, ZNF740 is implicated in controlling developmental gene expression programs, cellular differentiation, and maintenance of genomic stability. Emerging studies have suggested potential roles for ZNF740 in cancer-related transcriptional regulation and tumor progression, although its specific downstream targets and molecular mechanisms remain incompletely defined. Overall, ZNF740 is considered an epigenetic transcriptional regulator, but further experimental work is needed to clarify its precise biological functions.
DPABH-20586 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-20586 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
