General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-08446) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZNF70, targeting the amino acid region 1–145 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZNF70 (Zinc Finger Protein 70) is a member of the C2H2-type zinc finger protein family that functions primarily as a DNA-binding transcriptional regulator. It is localized in the nucleus and is thought to act mainly as a transcriptional repressor by interacting with chromatin-modifying complexes such as KAP1/TRIM28 and histone deacetylases, leading to epigenetic silencing of target genes. Like many KRAB-associated zinc finger proteins, ZNF70 is implicated in regulating developmental gene expression programs, cell differentiation, and maintenance of genomic stability. Although its specific downstream targets and biological pathways remain incompletely defined, it is believed to participate in broader transcriptional regulatory networks that influence cellular identity and proliferation. Overall, ZNF70 is considered an epigenetic regulator with putative roles in gene silencing and chromatin organization, but its precise physiological functions require further experimental validation.
DPABH-08446 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:6,000) application.
DPABH-08446 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
