General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20348) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZNF470, targeting the amino acid region 86–244 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ZNF470 from rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZNF470 (Zinc Finger Protein 470) is a member of the C2H2-type zinc finger protein family that functions as a nuclear transcriptional regulator. It contains multiple zinc finger motifs that enable sequence-specific DNA binding and is generally predicted to act as a transcriptional repressor through recruitment of chromatin-modifying corepressor complexes such as KAP1/TRIM28 and histone deacetylases, thereby promoting epigenetic gene silencing. Like many KRAB-associated zinc finger proteins, ZNF470 is thought to participate in the regulation of developmental gene expression programs, cellular differentiation, and maintenance of genomic stability. Although its specific downstream targets and biological pathways remain poorly characterized, it is believed to function within broader transcriptional regulatory networks that influence cell identity and proliferation. Overall, ZNF470 is considered an epigenetic transcription factor, but its precise physiological roles require further experimental validation.
DPABH-20348 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IF/ICC (1:800–1:3,200) applications.
DPABH-20348 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
